'M'-profile 'W' sandwich cone
The patented 'M'-profile cone is the result of years of research into materials and geometry. Made from a single piece, it combines rigidity, lightness and damping — the three criteria Focal considers essential for an ideal speaker driver. The outcome is an extremely linear frequency response, low distortion and better sound dispersion.
TMD® surround
Originally developed for Focal's Sopra hi-fi loudspeaker range, the TMD® (Tuned Mass Damper) surround features a unique profile designed to control resonance and reduce distortion caused by cone deformation. The result is better-defined, more realistic midrange frequencies.
Progressive spider
All Utopia M drivers use a progressive spider built around a progressive section that reproduces bass impact whilst optimising linearity, precision and dynamics.
Made in France with a unique design
The Utopia M range is designed, developed and manufactured entirely in France at Focal's workshops in Saint-Etienne — a facility with nearly forty years of internationally recognised expertise. The Utopia M chassis blends tradition, performance and French design elegance.

Q: Will these speakers fit my car?
A: Most car speakers are standard sizes, but mounting depth and fitting rings vary by vehicle. Check the size in the Specification tab against your vehicle, or contact CEN with your registration and we will confirm fitment and any adapters or fitting kits you need.
Q: Do I need an amplifier to run these speakers?
