Ultra-low carbon alloy steel pole piece CNC-machined using magnet
analysis software (FEM), cold forged in one-piece creates a perfect geometry. This produces an extra magnet force concentration just in front of the voice coil, focusing the magnetic force where needed. The Y35 ferrite magnet motor is optimized with FEA simulation to ensure a perfectly symmetrical magnetic flux in both directions of cone’s run. Motor metal parts are CNC machined from solid, refined material for maximum magnetic flux linearity and minimum magnetic loss. This reduces distortion at high power levels.
Die cast aluminum alloy basket frame. This design structure offers great rigidity and minimal resistance to airflow movement without altering sound quality. The casting of this aluminum basket follows strict procedures that ensure compliance with regulatory specifications and help maintain consistent casting quality.CNC-machined ultra-low carbon alloy steel pole plate. This type ofmanufacturing process ensures perfect flatness so it sits perfectly flush over the magnet without reducing any crucial magnetic flux.
The large aluminum copper-clad vented voice coil can handle very high power while reproducing music with extreme realism and high dynamics. The copper clad aluminum wire voice coil is very lightweight and with excellent heat dissipation/capacity.
- The tweeter features a high-modulus silk dome for a smooth sound, with an outer suspension covered with a high-loss damping material to eliminate edge vibration and resonance.Long-fiber, unbleached pulp cone with a special external treatment that makes this material a perfect combination of lightness, rigidity, and internal damping.
Surround suspension made of soft nitrile rubber, UV-resistant, and unaffected by temperature change so that the superior acoustic qualities of this speaker are preserved long-term. Special edge design ensures perfect and free forward and backward movement.

FAQs
Q: Will these speakers fit my car?
A: Most car speakers are standard sizes, but mounting depth and fitting rings vary by vehicle. Check the size in the Specification tab against your vehicle, or contact CEN with your registration and we will confirm fitment and any adapters or fitting kits you need.
Q: Do I need an amplifier to run these speakers?
A: Not always. Most speakers will run from a standard head unit, but a dedicated amplifier lets them perform at their best, particularly for component sets and higher power handling models. The RMS figure in the Specification tab is the guide to how much clean power they can use.
Q: What is the difference between coaxial and component speakers?
A: Coaxial speakers combine the tweeter and woofer in one unit for a simple like-for-like upgrade. Component sets separate the tweeter and woofer with a crossover for better imaging and detail, and suit installs where sound quality is the priority.
Q: Do these come as a pair?
A: Unless stated otherwise, car speakers are sold in pairs. Check the product title and What's Included tab, which lists exactly what is in the box.
Q: Can CEN fit these speakers for me?
A: Yes. CEN offers professional installation from our Nottingham premises. Contact us to book an installation slot or ask for a fitting quote.
