Who it suits
Listeners who want Astell&Kern's statement player for in-ears and efficient headphones, with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD and LDAC, and native DSD512. If you need more raw power for difficult over-ears, the KANN MAX reaches 15Vrms balanced in a lighter body.
Our tech experts advise
At about 493g it is a weighty player, so a case or pouch is worth considering. Use the 4.4mm or 2.5mm balanced outputs where your cable allows. Expect around 10 hours of playback from the 5,050mAh battery. A Silver version is also available. See our Astell&Kern collection.
