Which CEN Aerial or Adaptor should I choose?

For extension or joining tasks, choose a Fakra Z cable in the length and connector gender that suits your installation — 30cm for short routing, 5m or 6m for longer runs. If you need to connect a DAB antenna with an SMB plug to a head unit with a Fakra A socket on a factory nav unit from VW, Skoda, Mercedes or Audi that does not supply phantom power, the CENFAKRA-SMB pigtail is the correct adaptor. VW Transporter T6 or T6.1 owners fitting an aftermarket stereo should choose the T6DAB-RETENTION cable to keep the factory DAB aerial active with no additional aerial needed.

For Tetra detection systems such as the Target Blu Eye, both ClearTETRA models cover 380–500MHz. The difference is mounting style: the ClearTETRA-T1 is a T-Bar aerial that adheres to glass, while the ClearTETRA-P1 is a patch aerial that mounts on the inside of the windscreen.
