About the CEN CENFAKRAFF6

From our tech experts at CEN

The CEN 6m Fakra Z antenna extension cable has a female Code Z Fakra connector at each end and adds 6 metres to an existing antenna run. It suits GPS, GSM, DAB radio and DVB TV aerials that use the Fakra Z standard, and it is the longest lead in the range.

Who it suits

Installers and owners who need to move a receiver, tracker or TV tuner well away from the aerial, such as from the windscreen to under a seat or into the boot. For a shorter join, the 30cm female to female lead is the same connector set.

Our tech experts advise

Check the connector gender at both ends of your existing system before ordering: this lead is female at both ends, so it joins two male plugs. Use the shortest length that reaches, as every extra metre costs a little signal, and route it away from power cables. Get in touch if you are unsure.
