Which Alpine Speakers should I choose?
The E Type SXE series is designed as a direct factory replacement with power handling from 25–45W RMS in 4 inch and 6.5 inch sizes. The S2 Series adds Hi-Res Audio certification up to 40 kHz and higher power handling (45–85W RMS) across 4 inch, 5 inch, 6.5 inch and 8 inch in both coaxial and component forms. Within any given size, the component version — with separate tweeters and in-line crossovers — offers more precise tweeter placement than the coaxial equivalent.
