The Wavtech IRAD is a compact ignition remote generator with adjustable delay, producing a switched +12V output, a delayed remote turn-on signal, and relay or solenoid control for vehicles with stop-start systems. It is part of Wavtech's range of installation interface modules.
It solves three common installation problems: no switched +12V source, the need for a delayed remote turn-on, and audio systems cutting out during stop-start events.

IRAD ignition/remote generator with delay
The IRAD generates a switched 12V output in vehicles that don't have one, adds adjustable delay for a remote turn-on, and provides a relay/solenoid control mode to overcome issues caused by stop-start systems. If you need automatic remote turn-on without delay functionality, Wavtech also offer the ART Compact 12V Auto Remote Turn-On Module.
