This VIOFO A129 Pro Duo bundle combines the two-channel dash cam, recording Ultra HD 4K at the front and Full HD 1080p at the rear with a Sony IMX317 8MP sensor, dual-band Wi-Fi and GPS, with an HK3 hardwire kit and an 8-piece fuse kit.
The A129 Pro Duo needs the HK3 hardwire kit for buffered parking mode, and the fuse set makes fitting to the fuse box straightforward. A memory card is not included; the A129 Pro Duo 128GB bundle adds one, or choose the VIOFO 128GB microSD card separately. The dash cam is also sold on its own.

Q: What SD card do I need for this dash cam?
A: Use a high-endurance microSD card designed for continuous recording. Standard cards wear out quickly in dash cams. CEN stocks suitable high-endurance cards, and the maximum supported capacity is listed in the Specification tab.
Q: Does this dash cam record while the car is parked?
A: Parking mode is listed in the Specification tab. Where supported, it requires constant power from either a hardwire kit or a dedicated dash cam battery pack, both of which CEN stocks.
Q: Do I need to hardwire the dash cam?
A: Not necessarily. All dash cams work from the 12V socket for drive recording. Hardwiring hides the cabling and enables parking mode, and CEN offers professional hardwire installation from our Nottingham premises.
Q: Will the footage be accepted by my insurer or the police?
A: Dash cam footage is widely used in insurance claims and can be submitted to most UK police forces through their online portals. Recording quality matters, so check the resolution in the Specification tab.
Q: Front only or front and rear - which should I choose?
A: A front camera covers the most common claim scenarios. A two-channel system adds rear coverage for rear-end collisions and tailgating evidence, which is where many disputed claims arise. Three-channel systems add an interior view, suited to taxi and fleet use.
Q: What is included in the A129 Pro Duo hardwire bundle?
A: You get the A129 Pro Duo front and rear cameras, 6m rear camera cable, car charger, Mini USB cable, GPS mount, two non-GPS mounts, cable clips and stickers, plus an HK3 hardwire kit and an 8-piece fuse kit. A microSD card is not included.
Q: Why the HK3 hardwire kit?
A: The A129 Pro Duo uses a Mini USB power connection, so it takes the HK3 hardwire kit. The HK3 is required for buffered parking mode and motion detection.
Q: How does buffered parking mode work on the A129 Pro Duo?
A: When an impact or motion is detected while parked, it saves 15 seconds of footage before the event and 30 seconds after, so you see the full context of what happened.
