Optisound speaker upgrade kit
Optisound kits include everything needed to fit and optimise the speakers in your specific vehicle — no car modifications required.
Who is it for? Drivers who want noticeably better sound without cutting or drilling their car. The Optisound range covers a wide variety of vehicles, from German saloons to British hatchbacks and Italian superminis.
Why upgrade? Speakers are typically the first and most effective upgrade for in-car audio. The high-efficiency OPTI6C speaker delivers improved volume and detail from a straightforward installation.
What's included? The kit comes with all vehicle-specific fitting parts plus sound-enhancing components: sound deadening, a wave diffuser and an adjustable speaker baffle. These make installation straightforward and help the speakers perform at their best. If you drive a VW Transporter rather than a Corsa or Astra, Vibe's Optisound range also covers that platform — see the Optisound T5 and Optisound T6 kits.

About the Vibe OPTICORSA-V9
From our tech experts at CEN
A vehicle-specific Vibe speaker upgrade for the Vauxhall Corsa, designed to fit the factory locations and connectors without cutting or fabrication, rated at 90w RMS.
Who it suits
Vauxhall Corsa owners who find the factory speakers the weak point. Vehicle-specific sets keep the work contained and reversible, which matters on a lease or a car you will sell on.
Our tech experts advise
Fitment varies by model year, trim and which factory audio system the car left with, so we confirm against your exact vehicle before ordering. These go further with an amplifier behind them. Installation is priced per vehicle, so get in touch with your make, model and year and we will confirm what it needs. See car audio installation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Will these speakers fit my car?
A: Most car speakers are standard sizes, but mounting depth and fitting rings vary by vehicle. Check the size in the Specification tab against your vehicle, or contact CEN with your registration and we will confirm fitment and any adapters or fitting kits you need.
Q: Do I need an amplifier to run these speakers?
A: Not always. Most speakers will run from a standard head unit, but a dedicated amplifier lets them perform at their best, particularly for component sets and higher power handling models. The RMS figure in the Specification tab is the guide to how much clean power they can use.
Q: What is the difference between coaxial and component speakers?
A: Coaxial speakers combine the tweeter and woofer in one unit for a simple like-for-like upgrade. Component sets separate the tweeter and woofer with a crossover for better imaging and detail, and suit installs where sound quality is the priority.
Q: Do these come as a pair?
A: Unless stated otherwise, car speakers are sold in pairs. Check the product title and What's Included tab, which lists exactly what is in the box.
Q: Can CEN fit these speakers for me?
A: Yes. CEN offers professional installation from our Nottingham premises. Contact us to book an installation slot or ask for a fitting quote.
Q: Which vehicles does the OPTICORSA-V9 fit?
A: It is designed for the Vauxhall Corsa from 2006 onwards and the Vauxhall Astra from 2005 to 2010.
Q: What is included in the OPTICORSA-V9 kit?
A: The kit includes a pair of OPTI6C speakers, a pair of SLICK1-V7 tweeters, a pair of VIBE wave diffusers, a pair of Anti VIBE sound deadening pieces, two pairs of Vauxhall speaker adapter brackets, two pairs of Vauxhall speaker adapter cables and a pair of tweeter fittings.
Q: What power does the OPTICORSA-V9 handle?
A: The OPTI6C speakers are rated at 90 watts RMS and 270 watts peak, with 94dB sensitivity and a 4 ohm impedance. Vibe recommends the POWERBOX65.4M-V7 amplifier.
