About the PolarPro H9-SHUTTER
From our tech experts at CEN
The PolarPro Shutter Collection (H9-SHUTTER) is a three-pack of ND8, ND16 and ND32 filters for the GoPro HERO9, HERO10, HERO10 Bones, HERO11, HERO11 Mini, HERO12 and HERO13 Black. Each filter replaces the front lens cover directly, using CinemaSeries glass made in Germany with 16 coating layers against flare, fingerprints, oils and scratches.
Who it suits
GoPro users who want their footage to look less jittery in bright conditions. ND filters let you hold a slower shutter speed for natural motion blur on bike, car, water and snow footage. For cutting reflections off water and glass instead, see the PolarPro CP filter for GoPro.
Our tech experts advise
Use the ND8 for overcast days, the ND16 for bright cloud and the ND32 for full sun or snow. Swap filters somewhere clean and dry, because the filter replaces the camera's own lens cover. The impact-resistant build suits action use, but keep spares in the hard case. Browse our neutral density filters.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Which filter do I need - ND, polariser or variable ND?
A: A polariser cuts glare and deepens colour. Fixed ND filters reduce light by a set amount for controlled shutter speeds. Variable NDs adjust across a range, making them the flexible choice for video. The filter type and strength are listed in the Specification tab.
Q: Will this filter fit my lens or drone?
A: Filters are made per thread size or per drone model. Check the size in the product title and Specification tab against your lens thread or drone model, or contact CEN to confirm.
Q: Why use an ND filter for video?
A: An ND filter lets you keep your shutter speed at roughly double your frame rate in bright light, which produces natural motion blur instead of a harsh, choppy look.
Q: Do filters degrade image quality?
A: Quality glass filters are designed to be optically neutral. Cheap filters can introduce colour casts and softness, which is why we stock cinema-grade brands with strong colour accuracy.
Q: Which GoPro cameras do these ND filters fit?
A: They are built for GoPro HERO9, HERO10, HERO10 Bones, HERO11, HERO11 Mini, HERO12 and HERO13 Black cameras.
Q: Which ND strengths are included?
A: The pack includes ND8, ND16 and ND32 filters, suited to mid-day and bright filming, plus a protective storage case.
Q: How do the filters attach to the GoPro?
A: Each filter replaces the camera’s front lens element directly, so no adapter is needed.
