About the PolarPro 67-GLDMST-1/2
From our tech experts at CEN
A mist or diffusion filter, 67mm, softening highlights and taking the clinical edge off modern digital sensors.
Who it suits
Film-makers and portrait shooters who find current cameras too sharp and too clean. Mist filters bloom the highlights in a way that is difficult to replicate convincingly in post.
Our tech experts advise
Strengths vary, and a heavier mist is hard to undo later, so most people start light. Check the thread size against your lens. get in touch for advice.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Which filter do I need - ND, polariser or variable ND?
A: A polariser cuts glare and deepens colour. Fixed ND filters reduce light by a set amount for controlled shutter speeds. Variable NDs adjust across a range, making them the flexible choice for video. The filter type and strength are listed in the Specification tab.
Q: Will this filter fit my lens or drone?
A: Filters are made per thread size or per drone model. Check the size in the product title and Specification tab against your lens thread or drone model, or contact CEN to confirm.
Q: Do filters degrade image quality?
A: Quality glass filters are designed to be optically neutral. Cheap filters can introduce colour casts and softness, which is why we stock cinema-grade brands with strong colour accuracy.
Q: What size is the PolarPro CineGold 67mm filter?
A: It is a 67mm screw-in filter and fits any lens that accepts a 67mm filter. CineGold is also available in other thread sizes and as a Helix MagLock version.
Q: What does the CineGold filter do to an image?
A: CineGold is a 1/2 strength gold mist diffusion filter with 90% transmission. It gives a softer image with less contrast, warmer highlights and neutral shadows, designed to emulate Kodak Portra 400 film.
Q: What's in the box with the CineGold filter?
A: The box contains the PolarPro CineGold 67mm filter, a filter case and a microfibre cloth.
