The Option Audio P-165 is a 16.5cm, 2-way plug and play component speaker set rated at 75W RMS (150W max), designed as a direct-fit upgrade for selected Nissan, Renault, Smart, Mercedes and Opel models. It is part of Option Audio's vehicle-specific plug and play speaker range.

Vehicle-specific cable sets retain all original plugs, so nothing needs to be cut or modified.

Option Audio P-165

The P-165 is a vehicle-specific plug and play component speaker system for selected Mercedes-Benz, Opel, Renault, Nissan and Smart vehicles. It delivers a significant sound upgrade over factory speakers with no complex wiring changes required.

At 75W RMS, with a 3 Ohm impedance and a frequency range of 40Hz to 22kHz, the P-165 provides more dynamics, precise mids and clearly resolved highs. The 25mm tweeter improves detail and stage imaging. The supplied vehicle-specific cable sets mean all original connectors are retained — nothing is cut or damaged. Option Audio also produce plug and play solutions for other vehicles, including the Option Audio MB-W906 for the Mercedes Sprinter W906.

Q: Will these speakers fit my car?

A: Most car speakers are standard sizes, but mounting depth and fitting rings vary by vehicle. Check the size in the Specification tab against your vehicle, or contact CEN with your registration and we will confirm fitment and any adapters or fitting kits you need.

Q: Do I need an amplifier to run these speakers?

A: Not always. Most speakers will run from a standard head unit, but a dedicated amplifier lets them perform at their best, particularly for component sets and higher power handling models. The RMS figure in the Specification tab is the guide to how much clean power they can use.

Q: What is the difference between coaxial and component speakers?

A: Coaxial speakers combine the tweeter and woofer in one unit for a simple like-for-like upgrade. Component sets separate the tweeter and woofer with a crossover for better imaging and detail, and suit installs where sound quality is the priority.

Q: Do these come as a pair?

A: Unless stated otherwise, car speakers are sold in pairs. Check the product title and What's Included tab, which lists exactly what is in the box.
