About the Nextbase NBDVRS2SD128GBU3
From our tech experts at CEN
The Nextbase 128GB is the largest U3, industrial-grade microSD card in the Nextbase range, built to cope with the temperature swings inside a car. It holds about 18 hours of HD footage before loop recording overwrites the oldest files, or about seven hours with a rear camera module attached. A microSD-to-SD adapter is included.
Who it suits
Owners of the 222, 322GW, 422GW, 522GW and 622GW who drive long distances, record in 4K or run a rear module, and want footage kept for longer. It holds twice the footage of the 64GB. It is not compatible with the Ride, Duo, Mirror, 101, 202, 302G, 402G, 112 or 122.
Our tech experts advise
U3 speed is required for 4K and for dash cams with a rear module fitted. Format the card in the camera on first use and every few months after, and replace it if the camera reports card errors.
