AM/FM extension with power — Fakra female to DIN male — 5 metres
Fitting a replacement antenna to a vehicle can be difficult. Standards vary between manufacturers, and connectors are not always used consistently. Calearo's range of extension and adaptor cables is designed to make aerial installation as straightforward as possible.
The lead you need depends on the connector of the antenna being fitted, the input on the stereo or vehicle, and the cable length required to reach between the two. Where possible, connecting everything with a single cable is best practice, though in some cases a separate adaptor and extension may be needed.
This cable converts a white male Fakra connection to a male DIN type and is 5m in length. If you need an antenna to pair with this extension, Calearo also offer the Calearo AM/FM Fakra Aerial Amplifier Internal Windscreen Mount Antenna 7697018, which uses a compatible Fakra connector.

About the Calearo 7581185
From our tech experts at CEN
The Calearo 7581185 is a 5 metre AM/FM aerial extension lead with a separate power feed. It has a white Fakra female socket at one end and a DIN male plug at the other. It lets you connect an antenna with a Fakra plug to a stereo with a DIN aerial input.
Who it suits
Anyone fitting a replacement or aftermarket aerial where the lead will not reach the stereo, or where the connectors do not match. The extra power feed suits active (amplified) antennas that need a supply. The 5 metre length covers runs from the roof or rear of most cars and vans.
Our tech experts advise
Check three things before ordering: the antenna's plug, the stereo's aerial input and whether the antenna needs power. Connect the power feed to a switched supply so the antenna amplifier is only live with the radio on. Route the lead away from power cables to avoid interference. Get in touch if you are unsure which lead you need.
