About the Calearo 7677820
From our tech experts at CEN
The Calearo 7677820 is a black shark fin antenna for DAB and DAB+ digital radio, designed for roof mounting. Part of Calearo's Shark II range, it is an active, phantom-fed aerial with a black male Fakra connector, a 0.25m coaxial cable, and an IP68 waterproof rating.
Who it suits
This antenna suits drivers who want a low-profile, factory-style roof aerial for DAB digital radio and have no need for AM or FM. If you also need AM and FM, the Calearo 7677815 covers all three bands.
Our tech experts advise
Your head unit must support phantom feed to power this active aerial — confirm compatibility before ordering. The 0.25m cable is short, so a 5m Fakra extension cable is available separately for longer cable runs. Installation pricing varies by vehicle; visit our car audio installation page for details.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Does the Calearo 7677820 pick up FM radio?
A: No. It is a DAB/DAB+ digital radio antenna only. Calearo's 7677810 shark fin covers AM/FM, DAB/DAB+ and GPS in one unit.
Q: Does it need power?
A: It is an active antenna powered by phantom feed through the coaxial lead, so your DAB receiver needs to supply phantom power.
Q: How do I extend the lead?
A: The antenna has a 0.25m lead with a black male Fakra. The Calearo 7581012 extension adds 5 metres, ending in a female SMB connector.
