The Tempo Ultra MKII range

The range covers both 2-way component sets and Integra point source speakers, offering flexible options for a variety of installations.

The Tempo Ultra Integra MKII uses a point source design where the tweeter is concentrically recessed within the woofer cone — unlike a standard coaxial. This minimises phase error, keeps the sound field consistent in all directions, and achieves near-perfect time alignment.

Both the component and Integra models feature handcrafted soft dome tweeters and woofers with oversized voice coils and robust magnet systems, giving strong power handling with low distortion. Bass response is full enough to reduce reliance on a separate subwoofer.

Available in 5", 6", 5×7" and 6×9" for direct fitment in many factory speaker locations.

Neodymium magnet

Neodymium is the most powerful magnet type available. It allows Morel to build physically compact tweeters and midrange drivers that fit in tight spaces without compromising sound quality.

MXR crossover

The Morel Crossover Resolution (MXR) system uses high-quality components to ensure the drivers integrate seamlessly. It minimises signal loss and preserves the natural tonal balance of the speakers.

Paper cone

Morel's latest paper composite cones are ultra-lightweight, making them an excellent match for drivers using smaller motors and voice coils while retaining the material's well-established acoustic properties.

Our tech experts advise

Sizes, adapter rings and harnesses vary by vehicle, year and trim, so we confirm what your car takes before ordering rather than guessing. Door treatment and tweeter placement change the result as much as the driver does, and speakers at this level deserve an amplifier. Installation is priced per vehicle, so get in touch with your make, model and year and we will confirm what it needs. See car audio installation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Will these speakers fit my car?

A: Most car speakers are standard sizes, but mounting depth and fitting rings vary by vehicle. Check the size in the Specification tab against your vehicle, or contact CEN with your registration and we will confirm fitment and any adapters or fitting kits you need.

Q: Do I need an amplifier to run these speakers?

A: Not always. Most speakers will run from a standard head unit, but a dedicated amplifier lets them perform at their best, particularly for component sets and higher power handling models. The RMS figure in the Specification tab is the guide to how much clean power they can use.

Q: What is the difference between coaxial and component speakers?

A: Coaxial speakers combine the tweeter and woofer in one unit for a simple like-for-like upgrade. Component sets separate the tweeter and woofer with a crossover for better imaging and detail, and suit installs where sound quality is the priority.

Q: Do these come as a pair?

A: Unless stated otherwise, car speakers are sold in pairs. Check the product title and What's Included tab, which lists exactly what is in the box.

Q: Can CEN fit these speakers for me?

A: Yes. CEN offers professional installation from our Nottingham premises. Contact us to book an installation slot or ask for a fitting quote.

Q: Are grilles included with the Tempo Ultra 692 MKII?

A: No, woofer grilles are not included. The tweeters come with mesh grilles installed.

Q: What tweeter mounting options come with the Tempo Ultra 692 MKII?

A: Oval and round flush-mount tweeter housings, flush-mount brackets, and large and small angled surface-mount tweeter housings, two of each.

Q: What mounting depth does the Tempo Ultra 692 MKII woofer need?

A: 3-7/16in, which is approximately 87mm.
