About the HMX 8 LD-TC
The HMX 8 LD-TC is built for boats and open-air installs. The RGB LED lighting circuit sits below the tweeter, protected by a polypropylene transparent cover that acts as a light diffuser. The UV-resistant polypropylene cone is co-moulded with a Santoprene rubber surround, and the basket and grille are injected with a high-temperature, UV-resistant polymer to resist water, dust and mud. An aramid fibre spider with silicone-insulated lead wires provides long-term durability. The tweeter acoustic lens optimises off-axis dispersion and maximises SPL.
