Fully differential true 24-bit R2R resistor array DAC
FiiO's proprietary four-channel fully differential 24-bit R2R resistor array DAC uses 48 precision thin-film resistors per channel — 192 resistors in total across four channels. Each resistor has 0.1% accuracy and low temperature drift (30ppm), delivering the rich, musical character associated with R2R DAC designs.
Fully differential architecture
The K13 R2R's fully differential architecture reduces noise and FFT harmonics, producing a darker, quieter background to the music.
Preamplifier and power amplifier output
The K13 R2R supports a wide range of inputs and outputs, functioning as both a preamplifier and a power amplifier. It decodes PCM 384kHz/32bit and DSD256, handling high-resolution audio with full detail. If you need a more powerful option, the FiiO K15 is also available.
Fully balanced audio amplifier circuit
The entire audio chain — R2R DAC, LPF, volume control and headphone amp — uses fully differential signal processing for strong interference rejection, minimal distortion and high dynamic range. The amplification circuit includes gain control, headphone protection and POP noise elimination.
Multi-rail power supply
Up to 18 low-noise LDOs and 5 DC-DC converters make up the multi-rail power supply, delivering clean, stable power for the audio output stages.
