About the CEN CENFAKRA-FM-30CM
From our tech experts at CEN
The CEN 30cm Fakra Z antenna cable is a short lead with a male Code Z Fakra plug at one end and a female at the other. It works as a short extension or adapter for car GPS, GSM, DAB digital radio and DVB TV antenna systems that use the Fakra Z standard.
Who it suits
Fitters who need a little extra slack behind a head unit or receiver, so it can be connected outside the dash before being pushed home. For a longer run, the 5m male to female lead uses the same connectors.
Our tech experts advise
Make sure both connectors click fully home, as a half-seated Fakra plug is a common cause of poor reception. Tuck the lead so it is not pinched when the unit goes back into the dash. If you need to join two male plugs instead, choose the 30cm female to female.
