The Blaupunkt Frankfurt Stereo Classic is a retro-styled 1-DIN car radio based on the original 1970s Frankfurt design. It features a 3-inch TFT colour display, DAB+/FM/AM tuner with Blaupunkt's Codem IV technology, Bluetooth Twin Connect, USB-A, USB-C, AUX, and 4 x 75W output. Frankfurt Stereo Classic
The Frankfurt Stereo Classic recreates the look of a 1970s dashboard radio while packing in current technology. Classic dimensions, rotary and push buttons, a pinstripe front, and a chrome frame give it an authentic appearance in any classic car cockpit.

The Codem IV high-end tuner provides FM, AM, and DAB+ reception. The integrated multicolour display switches between digital and analogue frequency-scale modes and is controlled via the rotary knob.
Bluetooth supports audio streaming and hands-free telephony, including smartphone phonebook access and voice assistant support (Siri, Google). Twin Connect allows two devices to be paired simultaneously.
Additional features include a steering wheel remote control input, USB phone charging, and the option to deactivate ignition-plus (ACC) detection. Sound is handled by DSP with a 2 x 14-band equaliser, 4-channel pre-amp output, sub-out, and 4 x 75W output power at 2 ohms.
The unit installs in axle-mount or 1-DIN dashboard slots; all necessary mounting materials are included.

Q: Will I keep my steering wheel controls?
A: Yes, in almost all cases. A steering wheel control interface retains your existing buttons with the new stereo. Parts are sold separately.
Q: Does this stereo support Apple CarPlay or Android Auto?
A: Check the Specification tab, which lists smartphone connectivity for each model including whether CarPlay and Android Auto are wired or wireless on that unit.
Q: What is the difference between single DIN and double DIN?
A: DIN refers to the chassis size. Single DIN units are the traditional slim format, while double DIN units are twice the height and typically carry a touchscreen. Your vehicle's dash aperture and fascia kit determine which fits.
