The Audison AF Link Cable connects the DSP OUT outputs of an Audison Forza AF bit amplifier to the PRE IN inputs of Audison AF D amplifiers, adding up to 6 extra channels configurable in bit Drive. It is part of the Audison Forza AF accessory range.

Key specifications

  • Connects: AF bit DSP OUT outputs to AF D PRE IN inputs
  • Additional channels: up to 6, configured in bit Drive software
  • Compatible AF bit sources: AF M12.14bit, AF M8.14bit, AF C8.14bit, AF M5.11bit, AF C4.10bit
  • Compatible AF D amplifiers: AF M4D, AF C4D, AF M1D, AF M6D
  • AF M12.14bit exception: DSP 5 and DSP 6 outputs only

AF Link cable

The AF Link cable connects the DSP OUT outputs of Audison AF bit amplifiers to the PRE IN inputs of Audison AF D amplifiers, giving access to additional channels configurable via bit Drive software.

Link cable for Audison AF Forza amplifiers

The AF Link cable provides 6 additional channels configurable in bit Drive when connecting an AF bit amplifier to an AF D amplifier.

  • Connects DSP OUT outputs on Audison AF bit amplifiers to PRE IN inputs on Audison AF D amplifiers
  • The AF bit amplifier line features 6 DSP OUT outputs
  • All 6 outputs can be connected to the same number of PRE IN inputs on an AF D amplifier

Note

The AF M12.14bit is an exception. It uses the same DSP OUT connector, but only 2 outputs are available: DSP 5 and DSP 6. Outputs DSP 1 to DSP 4 on the AF M12.14bit replicate the signal already applied to amplified channels 9, 10, 11 and 12. It is not recommended to use these simultaneously.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Which amplifiers does the AF Link cable plug into?

A: It plugs directly into the PRE IN inputs of Audison AF D amplifiers such as the AF M4D, AF C4D, AF M1D and AF M6D. For other amplifiers the Molex connectors must be cut and soldered to female RCA connectors, observing polarity: the white wire is positive and the white wire with a black line is negative.

Q: How many channels can I add with the AF Link?

A: AF bit amplifiers have 6 DSP OUT outputs, so up to 6 extra channels. The AF M12.14 bit is the exception: only DSP 5 and DSP 6 are available, as DSP 1 to 4 replicate amplified channels 9 to 12.
