Alpine Halo9 ILX-F905D
The ILX-F905D is the second-generation Alpine Halo9 — a 9-inch media receiver with DAB+ digital radio, wireless Apple CarPlay and wired Android Auto, compatible with virtually any vehicle fitted with a 1DIN or 2DIN installation dock. The floating display adjusts to your preferred angle after installation.

9-inch WXGA HD Display
The 9-inch WXGA touchscreen runs at 1280 x 720p with over 2.7 million pixel elements, keeping icons, menus and video content crisp and vibrant. It attaches to an adjustable mount on a single-DIN chassis designed to fit most 1DIN or 2DIN dash openings.
Wireless Apple CarPlay
The ILX-F905D connects to iPhone via Wi-Fi for wireless Apple CarPlay, letting you make and receive calls, send and receive messages, play music and get directions without plugging in. CarPlay is controlled via the capacitive touchscreen or the mic button to activate Siri voice control.
Built-in Class-D Amplifier
The built-in 4 x 50 Watts Class-D amplifier delivers high-efficiency sound reproduction at around 90% efficiency — significantly better than the 50–70% typical of Class AB designs. Internal heat sinks and high-speed fans keep the unit cool during use.
Sound Quality
A 56-band Parametric EQ (advanced mode), 2-way digital crossover, 6-channel digital time correction, Bass Engine SQ and MediaXpander give you precise control over your audio system. The Halo9 is also Hi-Res Audio certified, decoding files up to 96kHz / 1.536 kbps from USB in FLAC, WAV and APE formats.

A: Most vehicles need a fascia panel, wiring harness and sometimes a steering wheel control interface to fit a new stereo. Contact CEN with your make, model and year and we will confirm the exact installation kit needed, or browse our Connects 2 installation kits.
Q: Will I keep my steering wheel controls?
A: Yes, in almost all cases. A steering wheel control interface retains your existing buttons with the new stereo. Parts are sold separately.
Q: Does this stereo support Apple CarPlay or Android Auto?
A: Check the Specification tab, which lists smartphone connectivity for each model including whether CarPlay and Android Auto are wired or wireless on that unit.
Q: What is the difference between single DIN and double DIN?
A: DIN refers to the chassis size. Single DIN units are the traditional slim format, while double DIN units are twice the height and typically carry a touchscreen. Your vehicle's dash aperture and fascia kit determine which fits.
