RetroSound Enhanced Hide-Away Antenna

A compact, amplified antenna for classic cars where a traditional wing-mount aerial isn't practical or desirable. The WPA2 connects via a standard antenna plug and your radio's power antenna wire and installs in seconds. Magnetic field circuitry improves FM and AM reception without an external aerial. The 105-inch antenna lead and power wire give plenty of reach to find the best mounting position inside the vehicle.

About the RetroSound WPA2

From our tech experts at CEN

An amplified hide-away aerial, mounted out of sight rather than on the wing.

Who it suits

Owners who do not want a visible aerial on a restored car, and anyone whose original aerial hole has been filled.

Our tech experts advise

Reception in an older car depends on the aerial, its earth and the state of the bodywork far more than on the radio. If reception disappoints after a fitting, that is where we look first. get in touch. See car stereo installation.

Bought as replacement for external AM/FM aerial which was damaged. Have to say reception is not brilliant although mounted high on a windscreen in a very Transporter but adequate. Now using digital signal almost all the time.
