About the Peak Design CRS-S-BK-1
From our tech experts at CEN
The Form Rope Short CRS-S-BK-1 is a fixed-length rope camera strap in Black, measuring 103.5cm with anchors and weighing 53.8g. It sits between the Neck and Standard sizes in the Form Rope range. The v5 Anchor Link connectors are rated over 90kg each, with the strap rated to 82kg overall.
Who it suits
Smaller-framed photographers who want a cross-body carry that keeps the camera high and close, or anyone who prefers a shoulder carry without much drop. It suits smaller mirrorless or DSLR kits with short lenses. If you want more length, the 118.5cm Form Rope Standard is the next size up.
Our tech experts advise
Hold a tape measure across your body from shoulder to hip before choosing, as the length is fixed. The accessory loop lets you stow the strap on your body with a spare anchor. Anchors are cross-compatible with other Peak Design straps, such as the Cuff.
