2-WAY COMPONENT SPEAKER SET
The updated component system builds on the sound of its predecessors, with cosmetic refinements that give it a clean, unfussy appearance.
Designed for straightforward installation into factory speaker locations on most vehicles, the Maximo Ultra MKII components offer excellent off-axis dispersion, high resolution and crisp detail — helping to overcome the acoustic limitations of standard factory speaker placement. The range also includes the Maximo Ultra 402 MKII 4-inch coaxials for smaller fitments.
DMM MOTOR
Morel's double drive motor system uses a secondary magnet fixed above the top plate to generate more magnetic energy than a single magnet of similar size. This increases efficiency and dynamic range while controlling stray magnetic flux, producing a more focused magnetic field and contributing to the speaker's shielded characteristic.
EVC MOTOR
Morel's EVC™ (Extended Voice Coil) technology uses large-diameter voice coils for improved heat dissipation, power handling and linearity. The motor system is positioned within the voice coil, eliminating stray magnetic flux by directing all magnetic energy to the coil. The result is a design that is efficient, magnetically shielded and highly compact.
PAPER CONE
Morel's latest paper composite cones are ultra-lightweight, making them an excellent match for drivers using smaller motors and voice coils. Paper remains one of the most effective cone materials available, offering a well-established combination of stiffness, damping and low mass.
