CineBloom 10% Diffusion Filter

The CineBloom gives your digital camera a film-like look. It softens harsh digital detail, blooms highlights, and wraps your image in a cinematic glow without sacrificing sharpness or colour accuracy.

CineBloom uses a custom particle blend sandwiched between two layers of HD optical glass. The filter is diffusion only — no ND — but stacks cleanly under ND or variable ND filters.

Light & Strong

The frame is aerospace-grade aluminium: strong without unnecessary weight. The precision-cut knurled edge gives a firm grip for fast, frustration-free removal, even when cold, wet, or stacked under another filter.

Works With Your Gear

CineBloom filters fit standard camera lens thread sizes and work with standard centre-pinch lens caps you already own.

Pick the Correct Filter Size

Filter thread size differs from lens focal length. Check the front of your lens's outer ring where the lens cap attaches — it will show øxx, where xx is the filter size in millimetres.

About the Moment 600-090

From our tech experts at CEN

The Moment CineBloom Diffusion 10% 49mm (600-090) is a screw-in diffusion filter that softens harsh digital detail and blooms highlights for a subtle, film-like glow. A custom particle blend sits between two layers of Japanese HD optical glass, left uncoated for the strongest bloom. The aerospace-grade aluminium frame is 51.7mm across, 6.6mm deep and weighs 11.5g.

Who it suits

Owners of compact primes and smaller lenses with a 49mm filter thread who want a gentle cinematic look without heavy editing. The 10% strength is the subtler choice and easy to leave on. If you want a more obvious glow, choose the CineBloom 20% 49mm.

Our tech experts advise

CineBloom is diffusion only with no ND, so in bright light stack it under an ND or variable ND filter. Bright point lights and backlit scenes show the effect most. Your existing centre-pinch lens cap still fits, and the case and micro fibre cloth are included. Browse our mist and diffusion filters.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Which filter do I need - ND, polariser or variable ND?

A: A polariser cuts glare and deepens colour. Fixed ND filters reduce light by a set amount for controlled shutter speeds. Variable NDs adjust across a range, making them the flexible choice for video. The filter type and strength are listed in the Specification tab.

Q: Will this filter fit my lens or drone?

A: Filters are made per thread size or per drone model. Check the size in the product title and Specification tab against your lens thread or drone model, or contact CEN to confirm.

Q: Do filters degrade image quality?

A: Quality glass filters are designed to be optically neutral. Cheap filters can introduce colour casts and softness, which is why we stock cinema-grade brands with strong colour accuracy.

Q: Is the CineBloom 10% 49mm an ND filter?

A: No. It is a diffusion filter only. It does not reduce exposure like an ND, but it stacks cleanly under ND or variable ND filters.

Q: What size lens does this CineBloom filter fit?

A: It fits lenses with a 49mm filter thread. The filter thread size is usually printed on the front of the lens, shown as ø49.

Q: What's in the box with the CineBloom 10% 49mm?

A: The Moment CineBloom 49mm 10% filter, a storage case and a micro fibre cloth.
