The JL Audio C1-650se is a 6.5" (165 mm) 2-way component car speaker system rated at 50W RMS, part of the JL Audio C1 Series. It pairs C1 woofers with 1" edge-driven silk dome tweeters and includes in-line 3rd order high-pass filters and multi-application adaptor rings.
This listing is the C1-650se Silk Edition component system. The C1 Series 6.5" range is also available as the standard component system C1-650 and as the C1-650x coaxial.

C1-650se Silk Edition — 2-way component system
The C1-650se pairs a 6.5" (165 mm) woofer with a 1" (25 mm) silk dome tweeter in a component configuration designed to drop into factory speaker locations.
The tweeter uses an edge-driven design for strong off-axis response and extended treble. A silk surround suspension and Ferrofluid in the voice coil gap add damping, while a neodymium magnet circuit provides efficiency. Outboard 3rd order high-pass in-line filters with Advanced Tweeter Protection Circuitry are included to guard against high-distortion damage and improve power handling. Both surface and flush tweeter mounts are supplied.
The C1 woofer uses a proprietary stamped steel 6.5" (165 mm) frame and DMA-optimized motor system. A mineral-filled injection-moulded polypropylene cone is suspended with a rubber surround and a flat Conex® spider at the top of the voice coil. Tinsel leads are routed and attached to each spider to prevent fatigue and buzzing.
Multi-application adaptor rings are included, enabling drop-in installation in vehicles with oversized 6.5" and 6.75" openings. Without the ring, the woofers also fit many "6-inch" speaker locations.

Q: Will these speakers fit my car?
A: Most car speakers are standard sizes, but mounting depth and fitting rings vary by vehicle. Check the size in the Specification tab against your vehicle, or contact CEN with your registration and we will confirm fitment and any adapters or fitting kits you need.

A: Coaxial speakers combine the tweeter and woofer in one unit for a simple like-for-like upgrade. Component sets separate the tweeter and woofer with a crossover for better imaging and detail, and suit installs where sound quality is the priority.
Q: Do these come as a pair?
A: Unless stated otherwise, car speakers are sold in pairs. Check the product title and What's Included tab, which lists exactly what is in the box.
