Stadium Series 6.5 inch 2-way car speakers

A new sound

Replace tired factory speakers and get an instant step up in sound quality with JBL's Stadium Series. The Stadium 62F uses a hefty magnet and oversized voice coil for strong impact, and JBL's high-sensitivity design makes the most of whatever power you give them.

Edge-driven dome tweeters

The aluminium dome tweeters use an edge-driven design for a smoother, more open response and minimal distortion at high volume. The UniPivot angled tweeter design lets you rotate each tweeter up to 270° to aim it towards the listener, so you get good stereo imaging even when the speakers are mounted low in the doors.

Plus One+ woofer technology

JBL's glass-fibre woofer holds its shape at high power, keeping bass punchy and defined. Glass fibre is lighter than traditional materials, so the woofer doesn't need a lot of power to drive it. Plus One+ technology extends the cone right to the edge of the basket for more surface area — a bigger cone means more bass to complement the high-frequency response.

Power handling for any system

These 3-ohm speakers have high sensitivity, so you can run them from a factory radio or an aftermarket head unit. For the best results, feed them with an outboard amplifier. If you'd prefer a component setup at the same size, take a look at the JBL Stage 2 604C 6.5 inch 2-way component speaker system.

Our tech experts advise

Sizes, adapter rings and harnesses vary by vehicle, year and trim, so we confirm what your car takes before ordering rather than guessing. Door treatment matters as much as the speaker itself. Installation is priced per vehicle, so get in touch with your make, model and year and we will confirm what it needs. See car audio installation.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Will these speakers fit my car?

A: Most car speakers are standard sizes, but mounting depth and fitting rings vary by vehicle. Check the size in the Specification tab against your vehicle, or contact CEN with your registration and we will confirm fitment and any adapters or fitting kits you need.

Q: Do I need an amplifier to run these speakers?

A: Not always. Most speakers will run from a standard head unit, but a dedicated amplifier lets them perform at their best, particularly for component sets and higher power handling models. The RMS figure in the Specification tab is the guide to how much clean power they can use.

Q: What is the difference between coaxial and component speakers?

A: Coaxial speakers combine the tweeter and woofer in one unit for a simple like-for-like upgrade. Component sets separate the tweeter and woofer with a crossover for better imaging and detail, and suit installs where sound quality is the priority.

Q: Do these come as a pair?

A: Unless stated otherwise, car speakers are sold in pairs. Check the product title and What's Included tab, which lists exactly what is in the box.

Q: Can CEN fit these speakers for me?

A: Yes. CEN offers professional installation from our Nottingham premises. Contact us to book an installation slot or ask for a fitting quote.

Q: Can I run the JBL Stadium 62F from my factory head unit?

A: Yes. With 93 dB sensitivity and a 3-ohm impedance they work well from a factory or aftermarket head unit, though an external amplifier gets the most from their 85W RMS power handling.

Q: Do the JBL Stadium 62F come with grilles?

A: No. Grilles are not included with the Stadium 62F, which are designed to fit behind the vehicle's existing door grilles.

Q: Can the Stadium 62F tweeters be angled?

A: Yes. The UniPivot design lets each tweeter rotate up to 270° so you can aim it towards the listening position.
