Thermo acoustic liner
This Special Edition version of the Thermo Liner Pro features an enhanced glass fibre reinforced aluminium face for increased performance.
Dodo Thermo Liner Pro is a professional 10 mm sound and heat insulation liner for vans, campers and motorhomes. The reinforced aluminium foil and extra-soft closed cell foam combine to produce a high-performance material that curves and contours to the vehicle interior — suitable for sides, floor and roof.
Efficient: Closed cell foam delivers superb thermal insulation and acoustic absorption in a low 10 mm (3/8") profile.
Flexible: A super-flexible metallised film reflects radiant heat and provides a tough, resilient barrier over the foam.
Sticky: Dodo's latest high-temperature adhesive means cut, peel and stick installation that stays bonded through the extremes of van and motorhome use.
Premium: Developed in the UK in collaboration with leading van conversion companies for the performance, flexibility and quality needed in a professional conversion.
One roll covers the roof or sides of a typical car, small van or 4x4. Larger vehicles such as the VW Transporter and Ford Transit Custom will need 2 to 3 rolls. Once fitted, cabin temperatures are better controlled — warmer in winter and cooler in summer — and reduced noise makes for a less tiring drive. For best results, apply Dodo Mat DEADN Hex sound deadening to bare metal panels before fitting the Thermo Liner Pro.

About the Dodo Mat DOD-THERMOPRO10SE-ROLL
From our tech experts at CEN
Acoustic absorbing foam, for soaking up the reflections a hard-surfaced vehicle interior creates, 10mm from Dodo Mat.
Who it suits
Van and camper conversions, and anywhere road and wind noise is the problem rather than panel resonance. Foam and butyl do different jobs and work best together.
Our tech experts advise
Coverage matters more than thickness: treat the outer skin behind the speaker first, then the inner. It is messy, fiddly work inside a door, which is why we normally do it as part of an install rather than sell it as a weekend job. Installation is priced per vehicle, so get in touch with your make, model and year and we will confirm what it needs. See car audio installation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How much sound deadening do I need for my car?
A: As a guide, a pair of front doors takes around 1 to 1.5 square metres, and a full car between 4 and 6 square metres depending on coverage. The sheet coverage for this product is listed in the Specification tab.
Q: Where should I apply sound deadening first?
A: Doors give the biggest gain for both road noise and speaker performance, followed by the boot floor and wheel arches. Even a doors-only install noticeably tightens speaker bass.
Q: Is sound deadening difficult to fit myself?
A: It is one of the more DIY-friendly upgrades: panels are cut to shape, peeled and rolled firmly onto clean metal. A roller tool and panel removal tools make the job much easier, or CEN can carry out installation from our Nottingham premises.
Q: Will sound deadening improve my audio system?
A: Yes. Deadening the doors reduces panel resonance so speakers produce cleaner, tighter bass, and lowering road noise means you hear more detail at normal volumes.
Q: How much does one roll of Dodo Thermo Liner Pro 10mm SE cover?
A: One roll is 5 m x 1 m, covering 5 sq.m. That suits the roof or sides of a typical car, small van or 4x4. Larger vans such as a VW Transporter or Ford Transit Custom need 2 to 3 rolls.
Q: How thick is Dodo Thermo Liner Pro SE?
A: This version is 10 mm (3/8 inch) thick closed cell foam with a reinforced aluminium foil face.
Q: Is Dodo Thermo Liner Pro fire retardant?
A: Yes. It is fire retardant to ISO 3795.
