Alpine R-Series amps: born to be played loud
R-Series mono power amplifier: RMS power rating 1 x 750W at 2 ohms
The Alpine R-Series line of speakers, subwoofers and amplifiers has a heritage of sound quality, and the R-Series amplifiers are no exception. Tuned to complement R-Series speakers and subwoofers, they offer a 15% reduced footprint compared to previous models and are easier to install.
The R2-A75M cleanly reproduces bass even at high volumes, with support for Hi-Res Audio. Alpine has built top-of-the-line technology into this amp, including high-efficiency transformers, premium low-noise custom capacitors, and low-distortion dual "Sierra" feedback/correction circuitry.
Advanced Class D technology keeps the amp compact enough to fit almost anywhere. Adjust the low-pass filter, bass boost and subsonic filter to dial in the right bass tone, and add the optional RUX-KNOB2 remote bass knob for dash-mounted level control.
R-Series amplifiers are available in two mono and a 4-channel configuration.
Elevate your audio
The R2-A75M delivers 750W at 2 ohms in a compact design. Alpine's Class D circuit provides efficient, high-quality output suited to any car audio build.
Reduced footprint
The R2-A75M is 15% smaller than the previous model (R-A75M), making it easier to install in most vehicle applications without sacrificing power.
Extensive tuning options
All speaker connections are consolidated on one side for easy access. Controls — including gain and crossover settings — are relocated to the top of the amp under a removable plate for quick adjustments. Integrated mounting feet on the chassis simplify installation further.
Remote bass knob ready
Connect the optional Alpine RUX-KNOB2 remote bass knob to control subwoofer level directly from your dash.
Made for R-Series speakers and subs

About the Alpine R2-A75M
From our tech experts at CEN
A monoblock amplifier built for subwoofer duty, Class D, rated at 750w RMS. One channel, all of it going to the bass.
Who it suits
Anyone adding a subwoofer that needs more than a head unit or a compact powered unit can give it. Amplification is also what turns a van or camper system from loud into clear.
Our tech experts advise
Power ratings only mean something when the amplifier is matched to the speakers and the gains are set with a meter rather than by ear. It needs a properly fused feed from the battery on the right gauge cable, which is the part we see done badly most often. Installation is priced per vehicle, so get in touch with your make, model and year and we will confirm what it needs and what the work involves. See car audio installation.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I choose the right amplifier for my speakers or subwoofer?
A: Match the amplifier's RMS output per channel to the RMS handling of your speakers or subwoofer at the same impedance. The Specification tab lists the power figures. If in doubt, contact CEN with your setup and we will recommend a match.
Q: What wiring do I need to install this amplifier?
A: You will need an amplifier wiring kit sized to the amplifier's power draw, typically including power and earth cable, a fuse, RCA leads and a remote wire. CEN stocks complete wiring kits, and the amplifier's fuse rating is the guide to the cable gauge required.
Q: What class of amplifier is this and does it matter?
A: Class D amplifiers are compact and efficient, ideal for subwoofers and modern installs. Class AB designs are traditionally favoured for outright sound quality on mid and high frequencies. The class is listed in the Specification tab where provided.
Q: Will an amplifier work with my factory head unit?
A: Yes, in most cases. If your head unit has no RCA outputs you will need a line output converter to feed the amplifier a clean signal. CEN stocks line output converters and can advise the right one for your vehicle.
Q: Can CEN install this amplifier?
A: Yes. CEN offers professional amplifier installation from our Nottingham premises, including secure mounting, wiring and setup. Contact us to book.
Q: How much power does the Alpine R2-A75M deliver?
A: It delivers 1 x 750W RMS at 2 ohms and 1 x 500W RMS at 4 ohms, measured at 14.4V with 1% THD+N or less.
Q: Can the R2-A75M be used with a factory radio?
A: Yes. It has a speaker level (high level) input with automatic power on, as well as RCA inputs, so it can be fed from a factory head unit without a separate remote turn-on wire.
Q: What cable size does the Alpine R2-A75M need?
A: Alpine specifies 4 AWG power cable and 8 AWG speaker cable for the R2-A75M.
