The Pioneer SPH-EVO950DAB-1D is a modular multimedia receiver featuring a 9-inch capacitive touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, DAB+ digital radio and Bluetooth. Its floating, tablet-style screen mounts from a single DIN dash opening, making it well suited to motorhomes and vehicles that couldn't previously accommodate a large-screen stereo. It is part of Pioneer's EVO modular receiver range.

The modular design means the SPH-EVO950DAB-1D can be fitted to vehicles where a large-screen stereo was previously impossible. The floating screen adjusts in depth, height and angle to suit a wide range of dash layouts, including motorhomes. Connectivity includes wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, DAB/DAB+ digital radio, Spotify, Waze, Bluetooth streaming, WebLink 2.0 and FLAC file playback.

Wi-Fi

Built-in Wi-Fi provides a cable-free data connection between your smartphone and the receiver, enabling wireless CarPlay and Android Auto without a USB lead.

Apple CarPlay

Apple CarPlay lets you make calls, use Maps, play music and access messages by voice or touch. Wireless connection is supported. Apple CarPlay requires iPhone 5 or newer running the latest version of iOS.

Android Auto

Android Auto mirrors useful information from your phone onto the screen in simple cards, designed to keep you focused on the road. Wireless connection is supported. Compatible with Android phones running Android 5.0 (Lollipop) or later. Availability may vary by device and region.

Waze

Waze is a social GPS navigation app providing maps, real-time traffic and live road information, displayed on the SPH-EVO950DAB-1D's 9-inch screen.

DAB+

The built-in DAB/DAB+ tuner delivers digital radio in clear quality. An optional DAB antenna is required. The SPH-EVO950DAB-1D carries the Digital Radio Tick Mark, meaning it has been independently tested and verified against the minimum specification.

Bluetooth

Built-in Bluetooth (HFP/A2DP/AVRCP) supports hands-free calling with Wide Band Speech, wireless audio streaming with artist, album and track search, simple pairing and two-phone simultaneous connection. An external microphone is included.

9-inch capacitive touchscreen

The fully flat touchscreen supports fast, responsive multi-touch gestures including pinch-to-zoom, swipe and scroll.

Dual camera input
