The Ultimo Titanium is Morel's current flagship subwoofer series, building on the musicality and high power handling the original Ultimo range was known for.
At the heart of the design is Morel's titanium voice coil former — exceptionally stiff and lightweight, it improves driver dynamics for quicker transient response, lower distortion and increased power handling. A copper shorting ring reduces distortion further, producing a flatter impedance response — particularly important in subwoofers where distortion levels are inherently high.
The TI 124 retains the core technology from the Ultimo series: a 5.1 inch Hexatech™ External Voice Coil (EVC™), the DMM™ (Dual Magnet Motor) design achieving over 90% efficiency, and PFS™ (Progression Field Symmetry) spider/surround technology that stiffens the spider as excursion increases — maintaining linearity and minimising distortion throughout the bass range.
Continued parameter optimisation means the Ultimo Titanium works efficiently in smaller enclosures than its predecessors, while delivering higher resolution bass reproduction.
