The Focal PS 130 FE is a 5" (130mm) 2-way component speaker kit from the Flax Evo Series, handling 60W RMS / 120W peak. It pairs flax cone woofers with M-profile aluminium/magnesium inverted dome tweeters.

Focal PS 130 FE
Focal discovered that a flax woofer cone produces a dynamic, accurate sound. At half the weight of fibreglass, flax fibres create a rigid yet lightweight cone that limits unwanted vibrations and improves accuracy.
Tuned mass damper
Focal's patented surround uses "tuned mass damper" technology — the same principle used in earthquake-resistant skyscrapers. Greater control of the woofer cone delivers smoother, more natural sound reproduction.
Power handling
The PS 130 FE pairs flax woofers with Focal's M-profile aluminium inverted dome tweeters. The inverted dome design mimics woofer-style dispersion, spreading high frequencies in a wide pattern for a natural soundstage. The aluminium frame provides a rigid, non-resonant platform. These speakers handle up to 60W RMS — powering them from a dedicated amplifier will fully unlock their dynamic range. If you need a larger component kit, Focal's 165 AS Access Series 6.5" 2-way component speakers are also available at the same 60W RMS rating.
