The Blaupunkt Hamburg SQM 23 DAB is a single-DIN retro car stereo recreating the 1983 Hamburg SQM 23 design, featuring DAB+ digital radio, Bluetooth 5.0, and front and rear USB. It is part of Blaupunkt's retro classic stereo range, designed for classic and youngtimer cars from the 1980s.
Note: a DAB aerial is not included in the box.

Hamburg SQM 23 DAB
The original Blaupunkt Hamburg SQM 23 from 1983 became a cult classic. This new edition combines that iconic 1-DIN design with modern technology, including DAB+ digital radio, Bluetooth streaming, and dual USB inputs.

Blaupunkt retained the original styling, updating the display to multicolour LC technology and replacing the original bulb-lit key labels with modern LEDs. These LEDs can also be activated via the vehicle lighting when the radio is switched off.
The Blaupunkt CODEM FM RDS tuner and DAB+ digital tuner deliver strong reception. USB ports support music playback and mobile phone charging. Bluetooth audio streaming works with music apps and services such as Spotify, and the voice assistant on a paired phone (Siri, Google, or Alexa) allows hands-free access without picking up the handset.
A programmable source button lets you assign a favourite input — such as USB, Apple iPod, or Bluetooth — for direct access. Device settings are retained even when the battery is disconnected, and standby power consumption is kept low to protect the vehicle battery.

A: Yes, in almost all cases. A steering wheel control interface retains your existing buttons with the new stereo. Parts are sold separately.
Q: What is the difference between single DIN and double DIN?
A: DIN refers to the chassis size. Single DIN units are the traditional slim format, while double DIN units are twice the height and typically carry a touchscreen. Your vehicle's dash aperture and fascia kit determine which fits.
Q: Can CEN supply and fit the stereo?
