The APK 570 suits car models whose doors house elliptical speakers, pairing 5x7-inch AP 570 woofers with AP 1 tweeters and APCX TW 570 crossovers. The crossovers are ultra-compact for straightforward installation and include tweeter output attenuation for precise fine-tuning. If your vehicle takes a different speaker size, the Prima range also includes the Audison Prima APK 165P 6.5-inch 2-way component kit.
AP 1 Tweeter
The 26mm diameter diaphragm combines with a wide-roll surround for maximum efficiency and a reduced resonance frequency. An acoustic lens compensates for in-car frequency response variations in the 10kHz–13kHz bandwidth caused by critical OEM placements.
AP 570 Woofer
The 32mm pure copper voice coil delivers high power handling and strong low-frequency control. The water-repellent treated paper cone uses a profile developed with FEM (Finite Element Method) simulation technology and optimised with the Klippel R&D Scan Vibrometer. A reduced mounting depth eases installation in OEM positions. The "Triple Wave" surround profile maximises excursion linearity. The compact basket features an abrasion-resistant and scratch-proof coating, with the motor secured using damping epoxy adhesive. High-current fast-on terminals provide double contact on both positive and negative poles for flexibility and quick connection.
APCX TW 570 Crossover
Optimised for OEM integration, the APCX TW 570 includes an attenuation switch (0dB, +2dB) to tune the in-car response to different installation conditions. Fast-on connectors are supplied to eliminate connection errors.
The R&D team optimised the electro-acoustic parameters of the AP 570 woofers specifically for door installation. The mechanical cut-off of the cone-dust cap system means the woofers can be used without a filter, maximising efficiency and making them easy to drive from any amplifier type. The large voice coil ensures high power handling and precise control through aggressive dynamic transients. Double Faston connectors with direct link to the tweeter speed up speaker connection and guarantee consistent contact.
