The whole package
The 165 AS3 component system includes two 6-1/2" woofers, two 3" midrange drivers, two TN43 tweeters and two external crossovers. The 3-way design splits duties cleanly — bass to the woofers, midrange frequencies to the 3" drivers — for a more detailed, structured sound than a 2-way setup. Woven fibreglass cones with a butyl rubber surround handle heat and humidity without distortion or warping.
Beyond tweeter dome
The TN43 aluminium inverted-dome tweeter disperses high frequencies more widely than a traditional raised dome, producing a broad soundstage with fine resolution. Flush-mount hardware is included so you can position the tweeters precisely for the best stereo imaging.
Custom crossover
The external crossovers distribute frequencies cleanly between the woofer and tweeter for a natural sound. A 3-position tweeter level adjustment lets you fine-tune the high-frequency output to suit your listening preference.
