About the Avtex AV24DS
From our tech experts at CEN
The Avtex SmartPRO AV24DS is a 23.8 inch smart TV with a built-in DVD player. It runs on 240V or 12V and 24V DC, with Freely, DVB-T2 and DVB-S2 tuners, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, AirPlay 2 and Mirror Cast. It measures W540.4 x H317.6 x D44mm without the stand and weighs 3.36kg with it.
Who it suits
Motorhome and caravan owners who want a larger screen and the option of DVDs when Wi-Fi is weak. If you do not need the disc drive, the AV24TS is the same screen size and lighter. The 21.5 inch AV21DS suits smaller spaces.
Our tech experts advise
The on-screen battery meter and AQT button help when running off-grid. Recordings go to an external USB drive or hard disk. Freely needs Wi-Fi, while terrestrial and satellite TV need an aerial or dish. Use a bracket rated for travel and a fused 12V feed. Get in touch about fitting.
