Sound system for VW Crafter 2 / MAN TGe | DSP power amplifier + subwoofer | Plug & Play

This sound system brings new sound to your VW Crafter 2 or MAN TGE - simple, well thought-out and completely without modifications to the vehicle. Ideal for vehicles with swivelling seats: The ROCK-3 subwoofer disappears inconspicuously into the seat console and still delivers powerful bass.

DSP6 power amplifier | Plug & Play with factory speakers

The DSP6 power amplifier delivers 6 x 60 watts RMS and is fully pre-configured for the Crafter 2 / TGE. It controls the front system fully actively - separately for woofers and tweeters. You can optionally add new speakers and door insulation to your setup at a later date.

The connection is made via a vehicle-specific cable set to the factory radio - no separate cable to the battery is required. This saves time and preserves the original wiring. Thanks to Auto Sense, the power amplifier switches on automatically.

Features

  • 6 x 60 watts RMS @ 4 ohms (fully active for front systems)
  • Optional: 4 x 60 watts + 1 x 120 watts (subwoofer mode)
  • 8-channel DSP with preconfigured sound setup
  • Auto Sense function
  • Efficient - no separate power cable required
  • Compact: 94 x 149 x 32 mm (with mounting bracket: 118 x 149 mm)

ROCK-3 subwoofer | Hidden, effective and coherent

The ROCK-3 is a passive 20 cm bandpass subwoofer that can be mounted inconspicuously under the swivel seat console. Installation is simple, the result is impressive - especially for such a compact design.

  • 20 cm bandpass subwoofer (passive)
  • 130 watts RMS, 2x 4 ohms
  • Fits under the swivel seat console
  • Bandpass with bass reflex port to the front
  • Direct connection to DSP6 via Plug & Play

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I need an amplifier for this subwoofer?

A: Yes, unless it is an active (powered) subwoofer with a built-in amplifier. Passive subwoofers need an external amplifier matched to the RMS power and impedance shown in the Specification tab.

Q: What size enclosure does this subwoofer need?

A: The recommended enclosure volume is listed in the Specification tab where the manufacturer provides it. As a rule, sealed enclosures give tighter, more accurate bass while ported enclosures deliver more output. Contact CEN if you would like a recommendation for your build.

Q: What does RMS power mean?

A: RMS is the continuous power a subwoofer can handle, and it is the number that matters when matching an amplifier. Peak or max figures describe short bursts only. Match your amplifier output to the RMS rating in the Specification tab.

Q: Sealed or ported enclosure - which should I choose?

A: Sealed boxes are compact and produce tight, controlled bass suited to sound quality builds. Ported boxes are larger and produce more output at low frequencies, suited to those who want maximum impact. Either works well when built to the recommended volume.

Q: Can CEN build or supply an enclosure and fit everything?

A: Yes. CEN supplies enclosures and offers professional installation from our Nottingham premises, including amplifier wiring. Contact us to discuss your build.
