A well-engineered 6.5 inch mid-woofer built for clarity and durability, sold as a pair.
The ABS basket is reinforced with fibreglass for maximum torsional rigidity while keeping airflow resistance low. This means the driver stays stable under load without choking itself.
The pressed paper cone uses a waterproof treatment. Paper cones are a proven choice — they balance lightness, stiffness and natural damping to keep distortion in check.
The surround is a high-damping, single-wave Perbunan® rubber edge. It handles temperature changes more consistently than standard rubber, so performance stays predictable in a car environment.
The 25 mm voice coil sits on an aluminium former and uses a double-layer winding of copper wire with an aluminium core. The motor is driven by a high-grade ferrite magnet for efficient, consistent output.
