Viofo BP100 & 2xEP100 Dash Cam Battery Pack for Parking Mode Protection 22950mAh
Couldn't Load Pickup availability
This bundle pairs the VIOFO BP100 battery pack with two EP100 expansion batteries. Together they hold 22,950mAh. The pack powers your dash cam in parking mode, so nothing drains your car’s battery overnight.
High Capacity for Extended Surveillance
Each unit holds 7,650mAh. On its own, the BP100 runs a dash cam for up to 32 hours in parking mode.* Add the two EP100 expansion batteries and you triple that capacity. Ideal for overnight monitoring and long-term vehicle protection.
*Based on a single-channel dash cam drawing 3W under test conditions. Actual runtime varies with dash cam model, recording mode, and environment.
Two-Way Fast Charging
The BP100 recharges fast. Hardwiring gives a full charge in 70 minutes. The cigarette lighter socket takes 100 minutes.
Two Powerful Outputs
Dual output ports let the pack power your dash cam and charge your phone at the same time.
Multiple Battery Protection
Multi-layer protection keeps the pack safe:
- Overheat
- Overvoltage
- Overcurrent
- Overcharge
- Over-discharge
- Short circuit
Temperature Protection System
The mainboard, cells, and pack are all temperature-monitored in real time. The app sends high-temperature alerts. This prevents overheating, keeps power stable, and extends battery lifespan.
Bluetooth App
Built-in Bluetooth links to the VIOFO Battery App. Check charge level and battery status in real time from your phone.
Parking Recording Time
Recording hours vary with video resolution, HDR settings, parking mode, and conditions.
VIOFO EP100 Expansion Battery
The two included EP100 batteries expand the BP100’s capacity for much longer parking recording. Note: the EP100 cannot work on its own. It must be connected to a BP100.

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What SD card do I need for this dash cam?
A: Use a high-endurance microSD card designed for continuous recording. Standard cards wear out quickly in dash cams. CEN stocks suitable high-endurance cards, and the maximum supported capacity is listed in the Specification tab.
Q: Does this dash cam record while the car is parked?
A: Parking mode is listed in the Specification tab. Where supported, it requires constant power from either a hardwire kit or a dedicated dash cam battery pack, both of which CEN stocks.
Q: Do I need to hardwire the dash cam?
A: Not necessarily. All dash cams work from the 12V socket for drive recording. Hardwiring hides the cabling and enables parking mode, and CEN offers professional hardwire installation from our Nottingham premises.
Q: Will the footage be accepted by my insurer or the police?
A: Dash cam footage is widely used in insurance claims and can be submitted to most UK police forces through their online portals. Recording quality matters, so check the resolution in the Specification tab.
Q: Front only or front and rear - which should I choose?
A: A front camera covers the most common claim scenarios. A two-channel system adds rear coverage for rear-end collisions and tailgating evidence, which is where many disputed claims arise. Three-channel systems add an interior view, suited to taxi and fleet use.
