The culmination of the very best of our latest innovations, our Beryllium tweeter combines for the first time ever our ‘M’-profile dome and our patented TMD® surround. With this new combination, our engineering teams have successfully extended the frequency response and obtained better dispersion. We also get a treble that is unrivalled in its precision, of great finesse, and an incredible soundstage's width.

‘M’-PROFILE BERYLLIUM INVERTED DOME TWEETER
Only metal capable of scratching glass because of its extreme rigidity, Beryllium is the perfect material for a tweeter dome. Two years of research and development led to a world first with the creation of a pure Beryllium inverted dome capable of covering over five octaves. It is an exclusive Focal technology, unique worldwide, that we have now combined with our latest innovation, the ‘M’ profile, which enables optimum dispersion and the use of a large, 1” (25mm) voice coil for improved power handling.
TMD® SURROUND
Originally developed for the Sopra line of high-fidelity loudspeakers, our TMD® (Tuned Mass Damper) surround has a unique profile, designed to better control the effects of resonance and to drastically reduce the distortion associated with deformations of the cone.
MADE IN FRANCE
Utopia M range is entirely designed, developed and manufactured in France, in our workshops in Saint-Etienne. A unique and internationally recognized expertise for nearly forty years.
OPTIMIZATION
At Focal, we strive to offer you not only unique listening experiences, but also easy-to-install kits. A mounting bracket is integrated into the tweeter for easy flush mounting.

FAQs
Q: Will these speakers fit my car?
A: Most car speakers are standard sizes, but mounting depth and fitting rings vary by vehicle. Check the size in the Specification tab against your vehicle, or contact CEN with your registration and we will confirm fitment and any adapters or fitting kits you need.
Q: Do I need an amplifier to run these speakers?
A: Not always. Most speakers will run from a standard head unit, but a dedicated amplifier lets them perform at their best, particularly for component sets and higher power handling models. The RMS figure in the Specification tab is the guide to how much clean power they can use.
Q: What is the difference between coaxial and component speakers?
A: Coaxial speakers combine the tweeter and woofer in one unit for a simple like-for-like upgrade. Component sets separate the tweeter and woofer with a crossover for better imaging and detail, and suit installs where sound quality is the priority.
Q: Do these come as a pair?
A: Unless stated otherwise, car speakers are sold in pairs. Check the product title and What's Included tab, which lists exactly what is in the box.
