1-Channel (Front) Dash Camera, Full HD, 27.5 fps. 160° Wide Viewing Angle. High Sensitivity utilising a Sony’s CMOS sensor with STARVIS™ technology

24/7 Security ModeAdditional to Parking Mode, 24/7 Security Mode* will automatically start to record when an impact is detected, after the Dash Camera internal battery goes empty, allowing you to monitor your vehicle 24/7, 365 days a year. *Security Mode requires a direct connection to the vehicles power supply using Pioneer's Hard Wire Kit.

GPS - Accurately record important information such as your current position, vehicle speed, direction of travel and time.

Night Time Mode - When driving on roads or in tunnels, the license plate and surrounding conditions are clearly recorded. By adopting the SONY CMOS sensor "STARVISTM" this product is suitable for night time driving.

Parking Mode - Peace of mind that your vehicle is watched whilst you are away. When the vehicle is parked, after detecting movement caused by vibration it will automatically record an event for a fixed period of time utilising the internal built-in battery.

Rear Camera Optional - Optional rear facing camera for dual channel recording available sepeatly (ND-RC1).

SONY's CMOS sensor with STARVIS™ technology - SONY's CMOS sensor with STARVIS™ technology captures exceptional details even in low light conditions.

Tailgating - When the distance between your car and the car behind you becomes too small, the dashcam starts to beep and record. (Optional rear camera ND-RC1 is necessary to use this function).

Wi-Fi® - Wireless connectivity specifically designed to support a cable free connection between your smartphone and the receiver.

Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) - Enhances the light and dark dynamic range and corrects the images, compensating for "overexposure" and "underexposure" that occurs when the brightness changes suddenly, such as at night, or when entering or exiting a tunnel.

Wide Viewing Angle - Record larger amounts of information with less blind spots, such as a motorcycle passing from the left or right or a pedestrian or bicycle jumping out.

FAQs
Q: What SD card do I need for this dash cam?

A: Use a high-endurance microSD card designed for continuous recording. Standard cards wear out quickly in dash cams. CEN stocks suitable high-endurance cards, and the maximum supported capacity is listed in the Specification tab.

Q: Does this dash cam record while the car is parked?

A: Parking mode is listed in the Specification tab. Where supported, it requires constant power from either a hardwire kit or a dedicated dash cam battery pack, both of which CEN stocks.

Q: Do I need to hardwire the dash cam?

A: Not necessarily. All dash cams work from the 12V socket for drive recording. Hardwiring hides the cabling and enables parking mode, and CEN offers professional hardwire installation from our Nottingham premises.

Q: Will the footage be accepted by my insurer or the police?

A: Dash cam footage is widely used in insurance claims and can be submitted to most UK police forces through their online portals. Recording quality matters, so check the resolution in the Specification tab.

Q: Front only or front and rear - which should I choose?

A: A front camera covers the most common claim scenarios. A two-channel system adds rear coverage for rear-end collisions and tailgating evidence, which is where many disputed claims arise. Three-channel systems add an interior view, suited to taxi and fleet use.
