25 cm / 10 inch A-Series Component Subwoofer, 1200 W MAX. 300 W NOM
Discover the Pioneer TS-A Series of shallow component subwoofers. Designed with carefully selected materials to improve bass response, these subwoofers are the perfect match to be used alongside the TS-A Series of speakers. If you are looking for a sound upgrade combined with easy installation, then look no further than the TS-A Series.
This 25cm subwoofer is just 8.7cm deep and has an oversized cone that produces louder bass than ever. Boost your car audio with 1200 Watts of pure, superior bass without losing too much space in your car.
Designed for enclosed use, the TS-A2500LS4 is fitted with a single oversized cone structure with double spiders to increase power handling and generate a more accurate, louder bass. The single cone helps keep the overall moving mass down at manageable levels, which is extremely important for efficiency and sound quality reasons.
A typical sub uses a damper to control the woofer’s cone excursion. Our double spiders are more efficient as they need less power to move the cone while producing superbly detailed and low distortion bass.

FAQs
Q: Do I need an amplifier for this subwoofer?
A: Yes, unless it is an active (powered) subwoofer with a built-in amplifier. Passive subwoofers need an external amplifier matched to the RMS power and impedance shown in the Specification tab.
Q: What size enclosure does this subwoofer need?
A: The recommended enclosure volume is listed in the Specification tab where the manufacturer provides it. As a rule, sealed enclosures give tighter, more accurate bass while ported enclosures deliver more output. Contact CEN if you would like a recommendation for your build.
Q: What does RMS power mean?
A: RMS is the continuous power a subwoofer can handle, and it is the number that matters when matching an amplifier. Peak or max figures describe short bursts only. Match your amplifier output to the RMS rating in the Specification tab.
Q: Sealed or ported enclosure - which should I choose?
A: Sealed boxes are compact and produce tight, controlled bass suited to sound quality builds. Ported boxes are larger and produce more output at low frequencies, suited to those who want maximum impact. Either works well when built to the recommended volume.
Q: Can CEN build or supply an enclosure and fit everything?
A: Yes. CEN supplies enclosures and offers professional installation from our Nottingham premises, including amplifier wiring. Contact us to discuss your build.
