Audison Prima was designed to meet the interest of the car model enthusiasts who like to appreciate all the nuances of the musical message with components that are perfectly integrated in the car OEM system, preserving the most precious Prima on Audison requirement of OEM integration: space.
AP 5 features a 32 mm pure copper voice coil, for high power handling and outstanding low-frequency control. All the woofers don't employ any filter, to maximize efficiency: the dome profile has been optimized with Klippel Scan Vibrometer to obtain a calibrated mechanical low-pass cut-off frequency.
- 32 mm pure copper mobile voice coil, for high power handling and outstanding low-frequency control.
- Water-repellent treated paper cone, featuring a profile developed with FEM (Finite Element Method) simulation technology and optimized with the Klippel R&D Scan Vibrometer.
- No passive crossover is required to maximize efficiency: the cone is optimized with the Klippel Scan Vibrometer to obtain a calibrated mechanical low-pass cut-off frequency.
- Reduced mounting depth, providing ease of installation in OEM placements.
- TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) sphere with unique “triple wave” profile for maximum linearity of excursion.
- Compact basket, protected by abrasion-resistant and scratch-proof coating, the motor is affixed with damping epoxy adhesive.
- High current fast-on terminal with double contact on positive and negative poles for installation flexibility and quick connection.
- The terminal features a temperature-resistant plastic cover, protecting it against accidental short circuits.
- Developed with the KLIPPEL suite.
The surround features the exclusive shallow Triple Wave profile, for maximum excursion linearity.

Q: Will these speakers fit my car?
A: Most car speakers are standard sizes, but mounting depth and fitting rings vary by vehicle. Check the size in the Specification tab against your vehicle, or contact CEN with your registration and we will confirm fitment and any adapters or fitting kits you need.
Q: Do I need an amplifier to run these speakers?
A: Not always. Most speakers will run from a standard head unit, but a dedicated amplifier lets them perform at their best, particularly for component sets and higher power handling models. The RMS figure in the Specification tab is the guide to how much clean power they can use.
Q: What is the difference between coaxial and component speakers?
A: Coaxial speakers combine the tweeter and woofer in one unit for a simple like-for-like upgrade. Component sets separate the tweeter and woofer with a crossover for better imaging and detail, and suit installs where sound quality is the priority.
Q: Do these come as a pair?
A: Unless stated otherwise, car speakers are sold in pairs. Check the product title and What's Included tab, which lists exactly what is in the box.
