The DSP amplifier is pre-programmed to perfectly match the sound characteristics of the Volkswagen T6, to ensure perfect sound quality, while the included wiring harness for original Volkswagen radios or aftermarket radios featuring RCA pre-amp outputs allows for fast plug-and-play installation in your vehicle.
The included 180 Watt subwoofer with wooden enclosure for installation under the passenger seat adds powerful bass and is even compatible with the rotary seat of the California camping bus.

More Power, More Dynamic
The 1120 Watt (peak power) Alpine DSP amplifier ads much more power and dynamic to your entire sound system and additionally drives the included 180 Watt dual-coil subwoofer. The DSP amplifier is pre-programmed to perfectly match the sound characteristics of the Volkswagen T6 cabin, but can be further adjusted for steering wheel configurations (left or right), radio type and other factors.

Powerful Bass Upgrade
Enjoy strong, powerful bass with the included 180 Watt subwoofer to make all your audio tracks sound even more exciting. The dual-coil subwoofer comes pre-installed in a sealed wooden enclosure, installed under the passenger’s seat of your T6. It is also compatible with the rotary seats of the California version, as well as the seating bench of the Caravelle van (installation position for Caravelle with 2-person bench is under the driver’s seat).
Fast & easy installation
All required installation brackets and cable harnesses are included in the SPC-W84AT6-2 kit to enable a smooth and easy installation. This version includes a plug-and-play wiring harness to connect the sound system to an original Volkswagen T6 radio or aftermarket radios featuring RCA pre-amp outputs.

Q: Do I need an amplifier for this subwoofer?
A: Yes, unless it is an active (powered) subwoofer with a built-in amplifier. Passive subwoofers need an external amplifier matched to the RMS power and impedance shown in the Specification tab.
Q: What size enclosure does this subwoofer need?
A: The recommended enclosure volume is listed in the Specification tab where the manufacturer provides it. As a rule, sealed enclosures give tighter, more accurate bass while ported enclosures deliver more output. Contact CEN if you would like a recommendation for your build.
Q: What does RMS power mean?
A: RMS is the continuous power a subwoofer can handle, and it is the number that matters when matching an amplifier. Peak or max figures describe short bursts only. Match your amplifier output to the RMS rating in the Specification tab.
Q: Sealed or ported enclosure - which should I choose?
A: Sealed boxes are compact and produce tight, controlled bass suited to sound quality builds. Ported boxes are larger and produce more output at low frequencies, suited to those who want maximum impact. Either works well when built to the recommended volume.
