The UTE-201BT is an affordable single-DIN audio solution that upgrades your sound quality to Alpine quality and offers a host of multimedia features to keep you entertained on the road.
You can connect your iPhone or iPod via USB cable (not included) to enjoy stored audio content or Apple Music (requires Apple Music subscription and internet connection) in your car. Simply select songs, albums or playlists on your iPhone / iPod, or directly through your Alpine player while driving. The player is compatible with all iPhone and iPod models from recent years, including the new iPhone X and iPhone 8 models.
If you have an Android phone or tablet, you can connect it via a USB cable (not included) to your Alpine head unit to listen to audio content through your car speakers. You can select songs on your phone/tablet or use the knob on the player. This feature is available for all Alpine players with Android Open Accessory 2.0 (including UTE-201BT).
The UTE-201BT player is equipped with a built-in, high-quality Bluetooth module, allowing you to make phone calls while driving safely and legally. An additional microphone is included in the set.
Spotify is a great way to discover new music and share your favourite songs and playlists. Why not use it on your journey? Start your playlist, genre list or album on your phone before you start driving, then stream the music wirelessly or via Bluetooth to your Alpine head unit and enjoy your favourite music on your car's sound system.
The high-compression audio format FLAC is becoming increasingly popular because it provides significantly better sound quality than regular MP3 files. This Alpine player can play FLAC files stored on USB media.
Customize the sound of your Alpine head unit to your personal preferences using Bass Engine SQ for incredible bass sound, as well as the Equalizer functions (10 Pre-Sets or 3-band Parametric EQ). Connect external amplifiers to the two pre-outs (2V) or simply enjoy direct speaker connection with the built-in 4 x 50W high-quality amplifier.

Q: Will this stereo fit my car?
A: Most vehicles need a fascia panel, wiring harness and sometimes a steering wheel control interface to fit a new stereo. Contact CEN with your make, model and year and we will confirm the exact installation kit needed, or browse our Connects 2 installation kits.
Q: Will I keep my steering wheel controls?
A: Yes, in almost all cases. A steering wheel control interface retains your existing buttons with the new stereo. Parts are sold separately.
Q: Does this stereo support Apple CarPlay or Android Auto?
A: Check the Specification tab, which lists smartphone connectivity for each model including whether CarPlay and Android Auto are wired or wireless on that unit.
Q: What is the difference between single DIN and double DIN?
A: DIN refers to the chassis size. Single DIN units are the traditional slim format, while double DIN units are twice the height and typically carry a touchscreen. Your vehicle's dash aperture and fascia kit determine which fits.
