The RetroSound® Grand Prix perfectly compliments the interior styling of the 1980s Mercedes, BMW, & Porsche vehicles while updating the audio technology to today's standards.
The unique design of the Grand Prix features authentic paddle-style controls along with low profile push-buttons.The Grand Prix is the perfect solution for updating the audio in your classic Mercedes, BMW, or Porsche while maintaining the original style of the factory electronics. A new Din Kit (#296) is included for an easy installation and factory-like fit.
The Motor 2B feature set includes an AM/FM tuner with 30 presets, a built-in amplifier 25-watts RMS x 4 and built-in Bluetooth® for hands-free calling and high-quality audio streaming.
The Motor 2B also includes made-for-iPod®/iPhone functionality to control your Apple device, is compatible with all Android devices, includes a rear-mounted USB port with 2.1-amp device charging, a dedicated subwoofer output, and dual RCA pre-outs to connect an amplifier. The 32,000-color display is adjustable, allowing you to match your vehicle's gauge color.

RetroSound radios are a modular design. Assembly is required. This design allows for a more adjustable fit and to offer different style options. RetroSound Radios are only compatible with 12V negative grounding vehicles.

Q: Will this stereo fit my car?
A: Most vehicles need a fascia panel, wiring harness and sometimes a steering wheel control interface to fit a new stereo. Contact CEN with your make, model and year and we will confirm the exact installation kit needed, or browse our Connects 2 installation kits.
Q: Will I keep my steering wheel controls?
A: Yes, in almost all cases. A steering wheel control interface retains your existing buttons with the new stereo. Parts are sold separately.
Q: Does this stereo support Apple CarPlay or Android Auto?
A: Check the Specification tab, which lists smartphone connectivity for each model including whether CarPlay and Android Auto are wired or wireless on that unit.
Q: What is the difference between single DIN and double DIN?
A: DIN refers to the chassis size. Single DIN units are the traditional slim format, while double DIN units are twice the height and typically carry a touchscreen. Your vehicle's dash aperture and fascia kit determine which fits.
Q: Can CEN supply and fit the stereo?
A: Yes. CEN offers professional supply and installation from our Nottingham premises, including fascia, wiring and steering control integration. Contact us for a fitted price.
