Hertz SPL Show SP 1.900
Ch: 1 | 1000 W
SP 1.900 mono amplifier features Hertz ADC (Advanced D-Class) output stage, reaching up to 87% efficiency. The maximum power of 1000 W is already available at 2Ω and remains stable even at 1Ω. Being ultra-compact (211.6 x 130 x 49 / 8.3 x 5.1 x 1.9) with impressive power, SP 1.900 is the ideal choice for motorcycle applications under-seat in sports cars and behind-seat installations in trucks.
Features
- Up to 87% efficiency thanks to ADC (Advanced D-Class) 1Ω stable output stage ensuring high audio performance in a compact size.
- USS (Universal Speakers Simulators) allows SP 1.900 to work with head units featuring the “speaker load detection” circuit.
- 1000 W RMS (1Ω) with ultra-compact size 211.6 x 130 x 49 / 8.3 x 5.1 x 1.9 (mm/inch).
- IP55 aluminum chassis for maximum protection against humidity and external agents.
- There is no cooling fan to prevent internal accumulation of dirt.
- Sealed power cord, line inputs, and speaker outputs to prevent oxidation.
- Crossover filters and controls on a single side to facilitate calibration when the product is installed.
- Balanced fully differential high-noise rejection inputs.
- ART (Automatic Remote Turn-On/Off) automatically turns on/off the amplifier when the OEM head-unit turns on/off (can be enabled/disabled).
- 24 dB continuous adjustable (50 to 250 Hz) Lo-Pass subwoofer filter.
- SUBSONIC filter (24 dB – 25 Hz), removes very low subsonic frequencies from music signals to avoid damage to the subwoofer.
- The optional HRC BM Remote Volume Control provides the ability to adjust the subwoofer volume level from the dashboard.

FAQs
Q: How do I choose the right amplifier for my speakers or subwoofer?
A: Match the amplifier's RMS output per channel to the RMS handling of your speakers or subwoofer at the same impedance. The Specification tab lists the power figures. If in doubt, contact CEN with your setup and we will recommend a match.
Q: What wiring do I need to install this amplifier?
A: You will need an amplifier wiring kit sized to the amplifier's power draw, typically including power and earth cable, a fuse, RCA leads and a remote wire. CEN stocks complete wiring kits, and the amplifier's fuse rating is the guide to the cable gauge required.
Q: What class of amplifier is this and does it matter?
A: Class D amplifiers are compact and efficient, ideal for subwoofers and modern installs. Class AB designs are traditionally favoured for outright sound quality on mid and high frequencies. The class is listed in the Specification tab where provided.
Q: Will an amplifier work with my factory head unit?
A: Yes, in most cases. If your head unit has no RCA outputs you will need a line output converter to feed the amplifier a clean signal. CEN stocks line output converters and can advise the right one for your vehicle.
Q: Can CEN install this amplifier?
A: Yes. CEN offers professional amplifier installation from our Nottingham premises, including secure mounting, wiring and setup. Contact us to book.
