Designed and developed in France, the Sub 10 benefits from Focal’s sound savoir-faire. With its 10” (25 cm) polypropylene cone, this subwoofer provides an excellent bass boost for any on-board audio system. It has a single voice coil architecture for simplicity and efficacy.

POLYPROPYLENE CONE
Using a polypropylene cone in the speaker drivers provides a lot of rigidity which repels distortion at loud volumes, ideal for a subwoofer.
SIMPLE CONNECTION
Thanks to screwable terminals, connecting the product to its audio system is simple and reliable.
BOOSTED BASS
The subwoofers’ tough, Polypropylene cone is a highly effective component that reproduces powerful low frequencies. Adding a subwoofer to an in-car system will dramatically improve the overall quality of sound reproduction, especially when it comes to dynamics.
TOTAL COMPATIBILITY
Compatible with all of Focal’s Car Audio products, these subwoofers are particularly recommended to complement Auditor, Access, Universal, Polyglass and Slatefiber systems. They are efficient in sealed and bass-reflex setups; the slim versions will also suit sealed or compact boxes.

FAQs
Q: Do I need an amplifier for this subwoofer?
A: Yes, unless it is an active (powered) subwoofer with a built-in amplifier. Passive subwoofers need an external amplifier matched to the RMS power and impedance shown in the Specification tab.
Q: What size enclosure does this subwoofer need?
A: The recommended enclosure volume is listed in the Specification tab where the manufacturer provides it. As a rule, sealed enclosures give tighter, more accurate bass while ported enclosures deliver more output. Contact CEN if you would like a recommendation for your build.
Q: What does RMS power mean?
A: RMS is the continuous power a subwoofer can handle, and it is the number that matters when matching an amplifier. Peak or max figures describe short bursts only. Match your amplifier output to the RMS rating in the Specification tab.
Q: Sealed or ported enclosure - which should I choose?
A: Sealed boxes are compact and produce tight, controlled bass suited to sound quality builds. Ported boxes are larger and produce more output at low frequencies, suited to those who want maximum impact. Either works well when built to the recommended volume.
